Rescue Cove, Jackson Pass 08.25.2013

When we woke up this morning the clouds had come back down the mountains, we were grateful to have seen this area yesterday.

The tides were right so we headed south down Mathieson Channel and popped into the head of Jackson Pass then into Rescue Bay for the evening.  Our trip was a pleasant 3 ½ hours today.

By noon we were settled in and enjoyed halibut burgers again.

By nightfall three other boats had joined us including S/V Singawing with Matt, one of our electricians,& his wife Andrea who live in Port Townsend, WA.

What a surprise!

We plan to travel together tomorrow, with a third boat - S/V Sea Witch from Los Angeles, CA, into Shearwater again taking a more indirect route which will are hoping will have some protection from the expected winds.
