The wind was from the north keeping the 2’ chop on the stern
most of the way south down Chatham Strait.
Otherwise pleasant weather and sun.
We saw a few more whales today at the intersection of
Chatham Strait and Peril Straits.
We had planned to anchor in Hanus Bay but got reviewing the
tides and realized that we needed to be at Sergius Narrows 2 hours before the Sitka
high-water slack – that being @ 6:30am AK time!
You know what this means…. A really early start tomorrow morning! A record on this journey also.
Anchored in 30’ feet of water and we were the only boat in
the cove for the evening.
